Shoring

North Corner Company has been specialized for more than 15 years in this business and owns new equipment and technology and is specialized in the following types:

  1. Support the sides of the excavation by using secant piles, which are either it is touching concrete piles in the case of loose soil, or non-contact piles in the case of cohesive soil, or support piles. One of these piles is concrete and the other is with bentonite. In the event that the groundwater level is near, one of these piles must be with bentonite. This is done in order to not leak water happen from under the neighbouring facilities and to form intersecting pilings, and the axis of the piling stop according to the nature of the soil and the required depth. The anchor beam must be placed on the pile heads to prevent them from tipping over.
  2. Shoring the sides of the excavation by using iron or wooden supports (flat timber), as is the case in supporting the sides of the excavation of sewage lines and water lines, and this depends on the nature of the soil.
  3. Supporting the sides of the excavation using sheet piles. This type is commonly used in the construction of sidewalks and ports. It can also be used to support the sides of the neighbour, but it is not preferred because of hammering the iron plates to penetrate the soil surface, which negatively affects the neighbouring buildings, which are iron plates of different thicknesses and lengths that determine the required thickness according to the soil report prepared for the need for the joining.
